Ortho-McNeil Institutional, Division of Ortho-McNeil-Janssen Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a member of Johnson and Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting for an Institutional Sales Representative, located in Minneapolis North, MN.

The Institutional Sales Representative is accountable to achieve sales quota by delivering market share and market share growth as well as other key metrics in the assigned Territory. The individual executes the company's brand strategy and tactics within the assigned institutional customer segment, which may include members of large hospital systems/IDNs, clinics and federal, teaching, city, and community hospitals. The Institutional Sales Representative influences clinical and non clinical stakeholders within assigned institutions to support the use of Ortho McNeil Inc. and J&J products in the treatment of relevant disease states by applying in-depth clinical and business expertise, and effective Institutional selling skills. The Institutional Sales Representative approaches each customer from a total account management perspective, by leveraging resources appropriately, collaborating with business partners and accurately articulating the value proposition for the customer, including key stakeholders such as Quality Management, Case Management, Risk Management, Infection Control, and future emerging influencers.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria: Excellent written and oral communication skills, a Bachelor's Degree, valid driver's license in one of the 50 States and a clean driving record, 3 or more years of direct selling experience to healthcare professionals in the pharmaceutical, biotech, device, or healthcare industry, or large account development related experience. Documented track record of sales results. Ability to travel as necessary or required, which may include overnight and/or weekend travel.
